U.S. Embassy Kabul released the following Warden Message on February 24:
This notice is to advise American citizens residing or traveling in Afghanistan that the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul will be closed for all routine services on Thursday, February 25. The Embassy is normally closed on Fridays and Saturdays. We will resume normal operations on Sunday, February 28.
The Consular Section's normal operating hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that anyone needing passport or notarial services for which a fee is charged should come before 3:00 p.m.
